  1. Volunteer Training Workshop · 90 minutes

    An introduction to cultural humility, paired with role-play scenarios and facilitated discussion. Designed to build confidence and shared language across new and returning volunteers.

  2. Trauma-Informed Care Training · 1 hour

    Recognizing trauma responses in real time. Practical do's and don'ts for volunteers working with women in recovery — what helps, what harms, and how to stay grounded under pressure.

  3. PDF Training Packet

    A take-home resource with practical tools, conversation scripts, and key takeaways. Designed to be referenced after the workshop, not filed away.

  4. Facilitation by a licensed practitioner

    Sessions are led by a licensed therapist or nonprofit trainer with direct recovery-related experience. The room reflects the work — calm, present, and clinically grounded.

What to expect.

  1. Month 01

    Discover

    We meet your team, learn the population you serve, and tailor the curriculum to the specific tensions your volunteers carry.

  2. Month 02

    Train

    The workshop and trauma-informed sessions run in person or remote. Materials are distributed; first questions are answered in the room.

  3. Month 03

    Reinforce

    A follow-up session checks in on what's landed and what hasn't. The PDF packet becomes a living reference rather than a one-time deliverable.
